| Artisan 70D
Mid-Gauge The 70D Mid-Gauge has 147 needles on each of the permanently attached beds. The tools and stand are all included in the price. Knits Double Knitting (DK) weight yarn up to light weight worsted. The Intarsia Carriage is also available for block or picture knitting. May we suggest you purchase a yarn winder to re-wind yarn to ready it for the knitting machine. The 70D Mid-Gauge is a great first machine. Reasonably priced and built to last. |

Standard Gauge Package The Artisan 245 is a standard guage (4.5 mm) knitting machine. In the package you will receive both the Main Bed and Ribber Bed. The Main Bed has automated patterning using the included punch cards (or make your own), and all required tools. The Ribber Bed comes with a special set of punch cards, tools and cast-on combs. Machine knitting yarn is used on this system. |
