The Pine Ridge Story
Through hard work and dedication, Pine Ridge has remained relevant in the creative industry since its inception in 1986. It began as "Pine Ridge Knitting Machines" and evolved into Sewing and Embroidery Machines as the industry evolved and embraced computerized technologies.
Today's Internet enabled Sewing and Embroidery Machines from Husqvarna Viking offer an impressive mix of features and usability that are unprecedented in the industry.
Through several locations including Baltimore, Frankford Crescent in Trenton, and its current Trenton location near the corner of Highway 2 and 2nd Dug Hill Road. Pine Ridge carves its niche in the hearts of the local community inspiring children and boosting self esteem.
We carry inspiring fabric and yarn, innovative notions, unique patterns and designs, quality sewing machines designed to "keep the world sewing" and we create classes for all skill levels from kids to couture.
In 2016, we'll be partnering with the Palmer Pletsch school of sewing to offer even better classroom experiences with enhanced focus on fashion and fit.
Knit & Sew
Established in her Mom's basement in 1986, a love for sewing which started with Grandma (a fashion designer from Holland), has made its way to 3rd generation Laura who bought the business in February 2014. Laura will continue sharing the joy of sewing as it changes from a way to save money to an ideal of sustainability and individuality.
The drive from Kingston is pretty easy when I know that I am getting good service.
Everyone there has been so kind to her and I think it is a wonderful skill for her to learn. Thanks!
We went out for supper and I wore the dress that I made from my favourite fabric store's fabric... I had many compliments on the fabric from passerby customers.
